Tuesday afternoon and I am wading my way through my pile of work to be done before and for Repco Rally New Zealand, much of it making sure that my Wintec work is up to date enough that I won't get back in a week and a half's time and find that I have a million things due that I haven't even started.
Developments this week so far:
Kate Gordon (PR for Rally NZ Org) has asked me if I would like to interview WRC Chariman Morrie Chandler and talk about the future of rallying in our Asia Pacific region with things such as the new rotational calendar, Rally Australia and the Pirelli Star Drivers.
I'm very VERY excited. - To say the least really.
Internationals get here on Sunday, I will start living at Mystery Creek/in town on Monday, interviewing Morrie Chandler on Wednesday and the rallying action kicks off next Thursday with Shakedown. So that means 5 days, 6 days, 8 days and 9 days to go. Or really just 5 days until it all gets underway!
